757 PTMO and CSO job openings have been re-advertised by TSC
The Principal Teacher Management Officer (PTMO) and Curriculum Support Officer (CSO) posts have 757 open openings, according to a new advertisement from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
There are 92 open positions for PTMO, according to a statement made by TSC CEO Nancy Macharia in an advertising published on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
The jobs of Curriculum Support Officer I (84 positions), Curriculum Support Officer II (regular) (286 positions), and Curriculum Support Officer II (CSO SNE) (295 positions) have also been re-advertised by the Commission.
The initial announcement was made on June 28 with a deadline for applications of July 5, 2023.
A candidate must have successfully completed at least three years of service as a Curriculum Support Officer in order to be appointed as a PTMO.
A bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited university is also required, or a bachelor’s degree plus a postgraduate diploma in education.
In addition, applicants must hold a certificate in computer application abilities.

Candidates will need to bring original copies of documents to the interview, including their National Identity Card, academic and professional transcripts, and appointment and designation letters for their present grade.
“Before being considered for appointment, candidates who pass the interviews must present valid documents related to Chapter 6 of the Constitution.” As Macharia said.

Candidates must have worked as a Curriculum Support Officer in TSC tier 10 for at least three years in order to be appointed as a CSO.
Additionally, they must have successfully completed a management course lasting at least two weeks and hold a master’s degree in education or special education from an accredited institution.
