Students interested in enrolling at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) can submit an application through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal right now.

On the KUCCPS portal, applications for 30 KMTC programs at the diploma and certificate levels are now open.

Anyone who passes the KCSE exam between 2013 and 2022 is eligible to apply, which has a deadline of August 4, 2023.
In the words of Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome, chief executive officer of KUCCPS, “This is a milestone because KMTC and KUCCPS have a common objective to enhance access to quality higher education and training opportunities in a manner that is equitable to all Kenyans.”

Wahome went on to remark that making the KMTC courses available through the KUCCPS platform will offer everyone access to training opportunities in a fair and equitable manner.

One advantage of using the KUCCPS system is that it provides a database of KCSE exam results for potential applicants. Therefore, it is no longer necessary for applicants to submit their test results.

The list of programs offered at the 83 KMTC campuses across the country, together with the minimum subject requirements, may be found on the KUCCPS Student Portal, where interested applicants can also look up the program prerequisites.

The Placement Service now places students in degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan programs at 30 private universities as well as 289 state training facilities throughout Kenya as a result of the inclusion of KMTC in the KUCCPS family.
