FIFA has launched the Football for Schools (F4S) programme to benefit Kenyan primary schools

The program was introduced in Kakamega on July 30, 2023 as a cooperative project with the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
FIFA hopes to have an impact on more than 700 million kids worldwide, both both boys and girls, worldwide
Through football, the program aims to advance specific life skills and competences and assist in the Sustainable Development Goals and other concerns.
It will directly impact nearly 2,000 people in Kenya elementary schools nationwide

Using coaching training and the supply of football gear,” said Michael Amenga, head of FKF
The initiative began with a three-day training course on football and life skills for 50 coach educators, a hand-picked group of teachers from all 47 counties in the nation with a passion for primary school football.
Boys and girls from a few Western region schools gathered at the Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday for the program’s official debut. There, they participated in small-sided football matches and received life skills instruction.
After the initiative is launched, participating schools will receive soccer balls and training gear. The coach educators will then instruct elementary school teachers in their region about the program, who will then pass the information on to the primary school students.
