
Are you ready to join Kenya Airways, Africa’s leading airline that connects the continent to the world and the world to Africa? We’re looking for a Fuel Data Officer Intern to play a crucial role in our organization’s fuel initiatives and cost reduction activities related to Jet Fuel Consumption.
Responsibilities
– Maintain an organized database for aircraft fuel burn records.
– Collect and analyze data on fuel initiatives, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
– Collaborate with fuel suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
– Develop and manage a comprehensive aircraft fuel consumption database, providing statistical analysis to minimize operational costs.
– Participate in environmental and sustainability projects focused on fuel usage.
– Assist in various duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
– Proficiency in written and spoken English.
– Knowledge of Jet Fuel Operations, Flight Planning Procedures, and Flight Data Analysis.
– Familiarity with analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau.
– Understanding of the Jet Fuel Industry and Market.
Minimum Experience
– Minimum of B plain in KCSE.
– At least 6 months of experience in Flight Dispatch Planning and Operations.
– Knowledge of Jet Fuel Contracting, Pricing, and Operations (an advantage).
