As a Procurement Officer, you will report to the Head of Procurement and be responsible for:
Following the company’s procurement policies and procedures
Choosing and managing approved vendors
Researching and evaluating potential suppliers
Preparing and managing tender documents and processes
Managing inventories and keeping accurate records of purchases and prices
Maintaining good relationships and performance with suppliers
Reporting on procurement activities
To apply for this position, you need to have:
A degree in procurement, business management or related field
Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)
At least three years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP Software
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
Supervisory experience
Attention to detail
Integrity and confidentiality
