Job Vacancies at Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA); How to Apply
To cover a number of open positions, the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) is presently looking to hire 21 highly qualified, proactive, and self-driven people.
The Authority’s main objective is to promote the development and regulation of Kenya’s micro- and small-business sector.
In order to realize the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), the Authority is also in charge of coordinating, harmonizing, facilitating, and integrating both governmental and private policies, initiatives, and activities addressing Micro and Small Enterprises in Kenya.
Corporation Secretary and Legal Services (1 post), Director Internal Audit (1 post), Deputy Director Supply Chain Management (1 post), and Deputy Director, Enterprise Development (1 post) are the roles that are open for recruitment.
Additionally, the Authority is looking to fill seven positions for Senior Enterprise Development Officers in the counties of West Pokot, Turkana, Kwale, Marsabit, Wajir, and Narok, as well as one for a Principal Infrastructure Development Officer, three for Enterprise Development Officers, four for Enterprise Development Assistants, one for an Accountant, and one for a Senior Office Administrative Assistant.
How to Apply
The leadership and integrity standards specified in Chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution must be met by potential candidates. Those that are hired must submit the necessary paperwork as part of the hiring procedure.
- Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Tax compliance certificate issued by Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Certificate of clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- From the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), a certificate of good conduct
certification from a credit bureau - The advertisement states, in part, that “Application letters should be accompanied by detailed CVs including three referees, their emails and phone numbers, copies of academic and professional certificates, and a copy of National Identity Card (ID).”
Both the application letter and the envelope should include the reference number for the position being applied for.
By no later than August 8th, 2023, all applications must be physically handed or mailed to the Chief Executive Officer.
