KRA Announces Jobs With Ksh53,000 Salary For C- (minus) Holders
It is a relieve to students who scored C- (minus) mean grade at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) as Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has advertised jobs today May 2, 2023 for them
On a post seen by Juc Media on the KRA website, it invited applications from KCSE certificate holders with a mean grade of C- (minus) for the position of Service Revenue Assistant
The applicants have been offered a five figure salary that is commensurate to their qualifications.
“KRA is seeking result-oriented, self-driven individuals with high integrity do fill the vacant positions in the Domestic Taxes Department.
“The gross salary attached to this position is Ksh53,500 subject to applicable statutory deductions,” the notice read in part.
In the notice, KRA listed only two requirements which are;
- One should be a Kenyan Citizen between the age of 18 to 30 years
- One should be a holder of KCSE or IGSE certificates with a minimum grade of C- (minus)
Deadline for Application
The notice indicated that interested applicants should submit their applications online on or before Monday, May 15.
Applicants have been asked to ensure that they fill every detail to ensure that they stand a chance for shortlisting.
Notably, the tax man has cautioned applicants that process is free and fair and none should pay for it. They were also warned of canvassing.
How to Apply
Registration on the E-Recruitment portal
- Using the KRA recruitment portal https://www.erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login log into the Portal.
- Click on ‘register’ and input a valid E-mail to verify your account.
- Log into the account using your username and password
- An ‘application cockpit’ page will load. Click on the ‘Candidate Profile ‘.
- Click on My profile and fill in the required details
- Click the ‘Overview and Release’ tab and then check
the box to complete your profile.
Application Process
- On the Applicant cockpit page, click on the ‘Employment Opportunities tab.
- Under the heading ‘job search’s, click the ‘Start’ button to view all available vacancies
- Click on job posting to see details of the position.
- Click apply at the top of the page to Apply.
- Follow the prompts to complete and submit your application.
- To ensure the application process is complete, click on ‘Send Application Now’ button after reviewing and accepting the data privacy statement.
