KRA Announces Paid Internships in Various Departments for 2023; Application Process
On Tuesday, July 18, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) made the announcement that they will be offering paid internships for a period of three months, beginning in September 2023 and continuing through November 2023.
KRA revealed the chances targeting the youth in an advertisement that was uploaded on its internet platform. This announcement was made in accordance with an initiative taken by the Kenyan government to cultivate a pool of young talent for the Kenyan labor market.
Graduates are the focus of this recruitment effort, and interested parties have until the evening of Sunday, August 6th, 2023 to submit their applications at the latest.
The interns will be placed in a variety of departments within the Support Services division of the Authority, including but not limited to the following: finance, accounting, economics, statistics, data analytics, mathematics, supply chain management, human resource management, marketing and communication.
Requirements
You must be a citizen of Kenya and between the ages of 20 and 35 to apply.
Should be a continuing student working toward their first degree (an undergraduate degree) and should be in their third, fourth, or final year of study at an accredited university. Diploma students should also be in their final year of study.
Should be in possession of an official letter of introduction from the college.
Participants are required to be accessible on a full-time basis for the duration of the program, which is three months.
The KRA will provide a stipend of Ksh 7,000 per month, which will be subject to statutory deductions.
In the event that they are chosen, candidates will be needed to provide evidence of a current Personal Accident Insurance Cover, as well as copies of their KRA PIN certificate, NHIF, NSSF, ID card, and details about their bank account.
Instructions for Submitting an Application for KRA 2023 Internships Registration:
To start the application procedure, go online to the recruiting portal at https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and click the box labeled “Register.”
After you have completed registration, an email with a confirmation link will be sent to the address you provided in order for you to validate your email address and finish the registration process.
Log In:
Once you have registered, navigate your browser to the https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login page.
To access your account, enter your username and password, then click the ‘Log in’ button at the bottom of the page.
You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page once you have successfully logged in.
KRA Offices Candidate Profile (Creating or Updating Applicant Details):
You can access the ‘Candidate Profile’ tab by navigating to the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ website.
To create a new profile or make changes to an existing one, use the ‘My Profile’ tab.
To finish creating your profile, just follow the instructions that have been provided.
After you have finished, navigate to the tab labeled “Overview and Release” to continue.
Be sure to confirm that your profile has been fully filled out by selecting the checkbox located on the page.
The procedure for applications:
Click on the ‘Employment Opportunities’ tab that is located on the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page in order to examine the available job posts.
To search through all of the positions that are currently open, go to the ‘Job Search’ area and click the ‘Start’ button.
You can view the specifics of a job posting by selecting it.
To send in your application for the position, you should click the “Apply” button that is located at the very top of the page.
In order to successfully complete and submit your application, please refer to the provided instructions.
Check that all of the required fields have been completed.
To finish the application process, make sure you have read and agreed to the ‘Data Privacy Statement,’ and then click the ‘Send Application Now’ option at the bottom of the page.
