Nairobi is Hiring 1,000 County Constables with 20k Monthly Pay; How to Apply
An important announcement about the recruitment of county constables has been made by the government of Nairobi County.
According to the announcement that was made public by the Government of Nairobi County, they are now trying to fill one thousand available vacancies for County Constables that fall under the Job Group “D.”
The major goal of this recruiting campaign is to increase the capacities of the devolved unit’s security and law enforcement agencies, with the end goal of protecting the safety and welfare of the citizens of the devolved unit.
Candidates who are successful in getting appointed to these posts will receive a gross remuneration that is greater than 20,000 Kenyan Shillings.
The base pay component of the compensation package ranges from Sh14,610 to Sh16,250, and it is accompanied by a home allowance in the amount of Sh4,125 and a commuter allowance in the amount of Sh3,000.
Those who are interested but want to be considered for the role of county constable must first demonstrate that they satisfy a number of standards that are considered to be necessary. These requirements include having Kenyan citizenship and being willing to serve their fellow citizens in a conscientious manner.
In addition, applicants need to have their KCSE Certificates, have a minimum mean grade of “D” plain, and be between the ages of 18 and 30 to be considered for the position.
A minimum height of 5’8 inches is necessary for male candidates, and a minimum height of 5’0 inches is required for female candidates. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate that they are physically healthy. In addition to this, applicants are required to be in possession of a certificate of good behavior that has been granted by the Director of Criminal Investigation and is current.
Candidates who are female should ensure that they are not pregnant throughout the entire interview and training process.
The enforcement of county bylaws, the protection of county installations and properties, and the performance of any other tasks that may be allocated by the authority are all part of the County Constable’s job obligations.
