The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced the recruitment of 8,000 paid interns for government ministries.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) noted in an announcement that was made public on Tuesday that the recruitment of interns is for various ministries, departments, and organizations within the government.
The following is a statement that was made by them: “The Public Service Commission is pleased to announce the recruitment of 8,000 interns under the Public Service Internship Programme Cohort 6.”
According to what they said, an applicant required to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, have graduated in 2017 or later, and have outstanding computer abilities. Additionally, the candidate needed to be able to speak fluently in more than one language.
The commission noted that throughout the period that the interns spend completing the internship, they would be tasked with achieving activities that have been mutually agreed upon and allotted by the supervisors. In addition, the commission stated that the interns will be given the opportunity to learn new skills.
In addition to this, they will have to provide evidence of their essential skills and actively participate in additional responsibilities that have been specifically designed for the program.
The PSC indicates that the internship will be a full year in length and will not be renewed after that point.
“The amount of the stipend that will be granted to the interns will be determined by the government. According to what the PSC has stated, if they have successfully completed the internship program in its entirety, they will be awarded diplomas.
