
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is looking for 541 qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Principal in regular secondary schools across the country. The Commission’s vision is to be a transformative teaching service for quality education, and its mission is to professionalize the teaching service for quality education and development. The Principal will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and providing professional support to other teachers in the school. The ideal candidate should have served as Deputy Principal II/Senior Master I, T-Scale 12 for at least two years, obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process, met the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution, and any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission. The Principal will be placed in T-Scale 13.
Candidates in Asal and Hard to staff counties who have served in the current grade for at least two years are eligible to apply. Candidates who are successful in the interviews will be required to present valid Chapter six documents before they are appointed. Candidates in regular schools with SNE certificates are encouraged to apply.
